Peter Zinovieff is a pioneering British composer and inventor who is credited with being one of the most significant figures in the early development of the synthesizer industry. He founded Electronic Music Studios (EMS) in 1964, which developed the VCS3 synthesizer, one of the first commercially available synthesizers. He has continued to develop innovative electronic music instruments and sound processing techniques throughout his career.
