The UDO Audio Super Gemini represents a bold evolution in analog-hybrid synthesis, delivering a dual-layer architecture that essentially doubles the acclaimed Super 6 engine. This flagship instrument combines the refined character of classic analog polysynths with modern digital precision, creating a powerful 20-voice polyphonic synthesizer that can compete with legendary instruments like the Roland Jupiter-8 and Yamaha CS-80.

At its core, the Super Gemini features two complete synthesis layers (Upper and Lower), each equipped with its own set of controls distinguished by white and orange fader caps respectively. This dual-layer design enables complex layered textures, keyboard splits, and independent sequencing, making it feel like having two Super 6 synthesizers in a single instrument.

The synthesizer's standout feature is its true-stereo Binaural signal path, powered by dual FPGAs and twin effects processors. When engaged, this mode creates immersive stereo imaging but halves the available voices (10 Binaural voices vs 20 mono voices). Each layer can operate in Binaural mode independently, offering maximum flexibility.

Sound-wise, the Super Gemini delivers a "classy" character that's refined, spacious, and detailed. It excels at everything from Vangelis-style space leads and ambient pads to Juno basses and '80s pop synths. The build quality matches the sound quality, with superb construction and an attractive white, grey, and orange aesthetic that commands attention in any studio.

The instrument prioritizes tactile control with minimal menu diving, offering immediate access to nearly every parameter through dedicated hardware controls. Performance features include poly aftertouch, a custom ribbon controller, and four pedal inputs including a unique delay freeze function.
