The Roland SH-5 is a monophonic analog synthesizer released by Roland in 1975. It is a two-oscillator synthesizer with a 24 dB/octave low-pass filter, an ADSR envelope generator, and a noise generator. It also features a unique "cross modulation" circuit which allows for complex and unique sounds. The SH-5 was used by a variety of artists, including Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, and Gary Numan.
