Fantom-S88 is an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action keyboard offering smooth integration of audio and MIDI using ROM waves and sampling with realtime timestretch capability. The new 64MB ROM of waveforms features new patches and rhythm sets.
32MB sample RAM is expandable up to 288MB and is compatible with .WAV/AIFF format while 16MB flash RAM save favorite sounds (optionally SmartMedia storage is available). Skip Back Sampling function for continuous sampling and Dynamic Pad Bank with 16 velocity sensitive pads for sample triggering are added.
The sound library is expandable via 4 optional SRX-Series Wave Expansion Boards. Besides 3 MFX processors there are reverb, chorus and a mastering processor.
The connectivity is represented with 4 line outputs (2 stereo or 4 mono), stereo line input and 24-bit S/PDIF digital output.
The instrument offers new stereo-sampled waves. Audio can be sampled using the stereo analog inputs or imported via USB and integrated as a waveform. 32MB of sampling memory can be expanded up to 288MB. Audio and MIDI can be mixed together which reminds of a digital recording studio. Fantom-S88 is filled with a complete set of professional effects to process a song through including a 24-bit reverb with rackmount processors and professional plug-ins, a dedicated chorus and delay. 3 multi-effects processors include many features from tempo-synced delay and Lo-Fi processing to COSM Guitar Amp Modeling, Slicer, and Isolator.
