D-110 is a 32-voice polyphonic synthesizer based on Roland’s digital Linear Arithmetic synthesis and ROM samples. The instrument is 9-part multitimbral. Memory provides with 128 internal and 128 external patches as well as 64 performances. The effects section delivers 8 effetcs (powerful reverb).

The instrument was released in 1988 and is a successor of the D-50 synthesis type. D-110 is a rackmount version of D-10 introducing some enhancements among which there are 6 individual outputs added. The unit is a more affordable alternative to D-50.

The programming requires some skill and time but the results can appear to be surprisingly amusing. Onboard drums include one kit, 63 sounds.
