A-70 is a weighted velocity sensitive 76-note MIDI master control keyboard. The same MIDI control features are represented in A-90. 64 MIDI channels are controlled with four individual MIDI outs. A-70 achieves its possible functional flexibility with the addition of optional Roland Voice Expansion Boards.

There is a selection of velocity curves which lets you change the dynamics of music and playing style. Independent control for eight zones (4 external and 4 internal, or 8 external sound source zones) is available.

The front panel offers 20 onboard controllers. There’s a dedicated sequencer control section. Expansion boards will add the needed sounds to the library.
