The Fender Coronado is a semi-hollow body electric guitar produced by Fender from 1965 to 1972. It was the first semi-hollow body guitar ever produced by Fender. The Coronado was designed to compete with the Gibson ES-335 and other popular semi-hollow body guitars of the time. The guitar has a unique look, with a double cutaway body, a bound top and bottom, and a large pickguard. The Coronado was available in a variety of colors and finishes, including sunburst, natural, and custom colors. The Coronado was reissued in 2006 and is still available today.
