The E-mu Systems Morpheus is a digital synthesizer released in 1997. It is a polyphonic, multitimbral synthesizer with a unique hybrid synthesis engine that combines sample-based synthesis with subtractive synthesis. It has 16-voice polyphony, 16-part multitimbrality, and a wide range of synthesis parameters. The Morpheus is capable of producing a wide range of sounds, from realistic acoustic instruments to complex electronic sounds.
