Today we will tell you about the news that Behringer company brought to Knobcon 2018, namely about two clones of the legendary drum machines of the 80s - TR-808 and TR-909 (RD-808 and RD-909 respectively).

The Dreadbox company has been pleasing us with novelties during all the Spring 2018. Over the past month, they have presented a third version of their Erebus synthesizer and its smaller version Lil' Erebus, which comes as a DIY kit, but the most intriguing and long-awaited news from the company was the Medusa synthesizer prototype that they brought to the Superbooth 2018, held in Berlin from 3 to 5 May.

In continuation of our previous post about the Eurorack modules, presented at the musical equipment exhibition Superbooth 2018, we will tell you about the novelties in the sphere of stand-alone instruments. Among them, there are a couple of extremely cheap synthesizers from Twisted Electrons, a high-grade FM synth from Fingersonic, the new version of a successful Erebus synth from the Greek company Dreadbox and a granular synthesizer from Tasty Chips Electronics.

There was the official announcement from Roland, they reported which 4 new modules will be included in the System-500 Analog Modular Synthesizer line, and also told about each of them. This will be a single synthesizer module - 510 Synth, a 5-in-1 module containing various modulation methods -  555 Lag/S&H, dual analog re-designed filter similar to the one in Roland SH-5 synthesizer in one module - 505 VCF, and 531 Mix - 6-channel modular mixer.
