The Roland MKS-10 Planet-P is a 16-voice polyphonic analog piano module released in 1984. It features 8 preset sounds (2 pianos, 2 clavs, 2 harpsichords, and 2 electric pianos), which can be combined and saved into 128 memory patches.

Controls: Brilliance, release time (short/long), chorus, flanging, and two tremolo effects (adjustable via Rate and Depth). All settings, including master Tune and Volume, are stored in patch memory. It supports MIDI velocity and control change messages for expressive playing.

Limitations: Despite its 16-voice polyphony, it is monotimbral and can only play on one MIDI channel at a time. Its sounds are not highly realistic for a piano module.

Successor: The MKS-10 was replaced by the MKS-20, a digital piano module based on the Roland RD-1000.
